ING. JAN SUCHOŇ

Jan has experience in security, crisis management, business continuity management and their technical, technological and information support. He worked as a teacher of vocational subjects at secondary schools, in 1995 – 2007 as the director of the Municipal Police of Zlín, security director and member of the security council of the statutory city of Zlín and since 2007 as an independent security consultant, concept and facilitator for ICT companies developing information security support systems. Jan graduated from the University of Technology, DPS and Emergency preparedness course organized by CCEP, Ontario, Canada, and participated actively in a number of conferences and workshops. From 2004 to 2005, he held the honorary position of chairman of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Police of the Statutory Cities and participated as a representative of the Czech Republic in the meetings of the national authorities of the municipal security of the Visegrad Four countries. In the years 2007 – 2013 he was a member of project teams of several important projects in the field of security technology integration, his most important project is ISKŘ hl. City of Prague, where he was an expert guarantor for crisis management. In 1997 and 2002, Jan actively participated in rescue and liquidation work during the floods and led or coordinated several rescue teams of the statutory city of Zlín in Zlín, Otrokovice and Tlumačov (1997) and Prague, Zálezlice, Ústí nad Labem, Znojmo and Spolana Neratovice (2002) . Jan is the author of many security concepts, studies and presentations. She has recently been specializing in the fields of IM, BCM and DRP.
